Today, I had a lot of assignments and felt a bit overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to start, so I got a little anxious. But I managed to finish at least one task.

I had the day off today, but since I woke up early, it felt like a long and productive day. I want to get up early again tomorrow and use the time to study.

I’m going to have dinner with my friend today. I’m very excited because we haven’t seen each other in a long time.

It was scorching hot today. After school, we decided to have pizza for dinner, so we took a detour to Pizza Hut. Guess what? They told us they had run out of pizza and were instead selling burgers. That’s ridiculous! We couldn’t accept that, so we headed to a local eatery which specializes in congee. The decor was shabby, below average shabby in which I felt uncomfortable at first. But the food was amazing. I still don’t get it—since when has Pizza Hut started selling burgers instead of pizza? Aren’t they running irrelevant stuffs?
